Flying Star "Xuan Kung" Feng Shui

"Acupuncture in Space"

The study of time and space are the foundations of classical Feng Shui.

The basic premise of the I-Ching is that everything in the Universe is in constant change. Life is not static we move grow and develop with time and space. consequently, Feng Shui must also change over time and neither its good or bad influences can last forever.

In Classical Feng Shui, several methods are used to measure how time and space affects our well being.

Flying Star is the most sophisticated method that combines Numerology of the Lo-Shu, the "Later Heaven", sequences of Trigrams and the 5 elements to analyze the quality and movement of Chi, the physical and meta-physical force at the center of all things in your space (home or Office).

Flying Star is able to trace the pattern of change over time.

  • Flying Star Feng Shui (Stars are a type of energy or Chi) is based on twenty year cycles referred to as "ages".
  • Currently we are in the age of 8 2004-2023

This background is an example of a "Flying Star Natal Chart"

Flying Star analysis entails a number of charts. The main ones being the "Natal" and  "Annual" charts and for the initiated there is the "Monthly" chart.

  • The Natal Chart is a tool of primary importance. Through its application we can discover and map the permanent Chi distribution of a structure. The Natal chart determines the luck for the long term (20 year period at least).
Basically, the concept is to divide the structures interior in to 9 "Palaces" (sections) each with its own direction and number from 1 to 9. The quality of Chi can then be established for each palace. This is the simplistic explanation given here for general clarification.
Two main features are used in determining the Natal chart of a structure:
        a) The birth date of the structure determined for example by the date the roof was completed,
the date the main front door was installed and the date that floors where completed.
This can vary depending on the practitioners modus operandi. The date of major
renovations can change the original birth date.
        b) The facing direction of the structure.

  • The secondary chart is the Annual Flying Star which, determines the distribution of good and bad  energy directions for the entire year. Being secondary does not lessen the importance of this chart as the annual energies can have a marked effect on the Natal chart results and it is encouraged to update the readings annually.

  • The Monthly Flying Star maps the monthly movements of Chi and can be beneficial in extreme cases of for those whose advocate the highest levels of accuracy in the reading of Feng Shui energies.

Conclusion

The above explanation is by no means intended to be complete. Flying Stars is complex and sophisticated in its theory and application.

It is up to the Feng Shui practitioner to determine:

  1.  The hazardous afflictions of bad stars and to cure them.

  2. The location of the good stars and activate them in order to achieve for you the client the fastest and best results in gaining fortune and good luck.
